Cadence University Program Member

UFPB (Federal University of Paraíba) is a member of the Cadence University Program. This allows the use of Cadence tools for teaching IC Design at UFPB.

The following Cadence tools were used in undergraduate courses during 2014/2015:

  • 2015.1: Analog IC Design. Tools: ASSURA, MMSIM, PVE, IC615.Instructor: Prof. Antonio Souza
  • 2014.2 and 2015.1: Semiconductor Devices. Tools: SPB16.6 (ORCAD/PSPICE). Instructor: Prof. Antonio Souza

The following Cadence tools were used in graduate courses during 2014/2015:

  • 2014.2: Fundamentals of Microelectronics. Tools: ASSURA, MMSIM, PVE, IC615. Instructor: Prof. Antonio Souza
  • 2015.1: Design of Analog CMOS ICs. Tools: ASSURA, MMSIM, PVE, IC615. Instructor: Prof. Antonio Souza

The following Cadence tools will be used in undergraduate courses during 2018:

  • 2018.1: Analog IC Design. Tools: ASSURA, MMSIM, PVE, IC615. Instructor: Prof. Rafael Marinho
  • 2018.1: Communication Circuits. Tools: ASSURA, MMSIM, PVE, IC615. Instructor: Prof. Antonio Souza
  • 2018.1 and 2018.2: Semiconductor Devices. Tools: SPB16.6 (ORCAD/PSPICE). Instructor: Prof. Rafael Marinho
